Clarinetist David Sapadin is an active freelance musician in the New York City area, having performed with Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, American Ballet Theater, New York City Opera, American Symphony, Hong Kong Philharmonic, Princeton Symphony, Stamford Symphony, and Albany Symphony. In addition to his freelance work, Mr. Sapadin is on faculty at Long Island University - Post, Mannes College Prep Division, Montclar State University, The Special School at the Kaufman Center and Kinhaven Music School. Mr. Sapadin holds a BMus. from USC, an MMus. from the Manhattan School of Music and a Performance Certificate from Mannes College, The New School For Music. He can be heard on numerous recordings of the Metropolitan Opera and Rufus Wainwright. Mr. Sapadin studied with Yehuda Gilad, Mitchel Lurie, David Krakauer and Ricardo Morales, and is a Backun Clarinet Artist.
